He found it, though it was a tough journey, but along the way the Lord used his struggles and pain to become transparent with you in telling you from real experience what each facet of the road to recovery was like. Unbelievable how much this book has opened my eyes. I feel like an anchor has been taken off my neck. I have more faith, hope, and peace . I have been indoctrinated under the wrong tree, if you will. GOD bless Eddie Snipes and I hope many more people read this amazing book.
This is a great insightful book. It has helped me understand addictions and be more tolerant of them (meaning that I no longer am judgemental about the problem they have. This book has helped me talk to a close friend about his addiction and convince him how much God loves him which I believe will allow him to forgive himself. He has volunteered to go into a rehab facility and get himself straightened out. I hope to share this book with him while he is in rehab.
